President of the Syrian Opposition Coalition (SOC), Nasr al-Hariri, sent a letter to Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and the Turkish Foreign Ministry to congratulate them on the Democracy and National Unity Day which is the fourth anniversary of the victory of July 15.
Al-Hariri expressed the hope that Turkey will protect “this giving country, the country of goodness and serenity, and to perpetuate the blessings of security, stability, progress and prosperity.”
“The whole world passionately watched and followed how the great Turkish people reacted to defend the values of freedom, equality, fraternity, and democracy through peaceful and high public awareness at very crucial moments that held breath and hardly passed.”
He expressed his deepest gratitude to Turkey’s sublime role and generous efforts to support the steadfastness of the Syrian people in Idlib, adding that it is “a great attitude we are accustomed to on your part throughout the Syrian Revolution.”
“The SOC is proud to have succeeded in continuing to maintain relations with you in the context of permanent partnership and friendship.
He added: “Today we are proud to celebrate with you these noble values, assuring you of continuing work and coordination with you to fight all terrorist and separatist organizations for a free, secure and prosperous Syria for all Syrians.” (Source: SOC’s Media Department)
