President of the Syrian Opposition Coalition (SOC), Salem Al-Meslet, strongly condemned the racist attack that targeted Syrian refugees in the town of Talhayat, in the Akkar region in Lebanon, calling on the Lebanese authorities to launch an investigation into this crime and held the perpetrators to account.
Al-Meslet stressed the need to respect international laws on the protection of refugees and the safeguarding of their rights.
Al-Meslet made it clear that the Syrian people were forced to leave their homeland because of the brutality of the Assad regime and its allied Iranian terrorist militias, especially the terrorist Hezbollah militia.
A camp for Syrian refugees near the town of Talhayat in Akkar in Lebanon was set on fire by a group of Lebanese citizens on Sunday after a resident of the area was found dead in mysterious conditions.
