President of the Syrian Opposition Coalition (SOC), Salem al-Meslet, met with revolutionary groupings and bodies as well as representatives of services institutions in the town of Ras al-Ayn. The two sides discussed the conditions in the region, its needs and challenges that impede their work.
The meeting took place in the cultural center in Ras al-Ayn. Al-Meslet was accompanied by member of the political committee Ahmed Tomeh, SOC’s member Hussein Al-Ra’ad and Minister of Agriculture Hayel Al-Kalesh.
Al-Meslet reaffirmed the SOC’s keenness on taking care of the town of Ras al-Ayn and Tal Abyad, adding that the SOC is working through its executive institutions to communicate with states and donors to end the blockade imposed on the region.
He also talked about the latest developments in the political process, reaffirming the SOC’s commitment to the goals of the Syrian revolution and the Syrian people’s aspirations for freedom, dignity and democracy.
