With vital support from the Syria Recovery Trust Fund, the ambulance and emergency system, affiliated with the Aleppo Health Directorate under the Syrian Interim Government, is now in operation across the northern Aleppo countryside. These services extend to key areas including Kafr Janna, Shamarin, Azaz, Marie, Al-Bab, Ain Al-Bayda, Zughra, Al-Ghandoura, and Jarabulus.
This significant development stems from a recognition of the urgent need to fortify health services in the face of prevailing humanitarian challenges in the region. It stands as a pivotal step in ongoing efforts to elevate healthcare standards and deliver efficient medical services, empowering medical teams to respond promptly to emergency cases.
The newly activated system serves as a critical tool for the systematic transfer of patients with chronic conditions, particularly vulnerable to the impact of severe weather conditions. This measure is geared towards preserving their health and ensuring timely access to essential care.
