The Assistance Coordination Unit, in its office in the Turkish city of Gaziantep, recently welcomed a delegation from the Syrian Negotiations Commission. The delegation, comprising Chairman of the Commission, Badr Jamous, and Commission members Jamal Suleiman and Ahmed Al-Asrawi, was received by the Executive Director of the Unit, Muhammad Hasno.
During the meeting, Muhammad Hasno provided an extensive overview of the Unit’s vision, programs, activities, and its role in supporting humanitarian and development response plans, as well as contributing to the stabilization efforts in liberated areas. The discussion emphasized the importance of coordinating and advocating for education at both the basic and higher levels.
Additionally, the meeting underscored the significance of supporting the negotiation process with technical rights files through the Syrian Human Rights platform and the need to enhance communication with specialized Syrian human rights organizations that have made notable contributions in this field.
