A delegation from the Association of Independent Syrian Kurds visited the towns of Ras al-Ayn and Tal Abyad as part of the activities it is carrying out in the liberated areas.
The delegation comprised the Association’s Head, Abdel Aziz Al-Tammo, Vice-president, Radeef Mustafa, and members of the Board of Directors Muhammad Al-Naqshbandi and Mahmoud Farhan.
The delegation visited civil, judicial and military institutions where they met with military leaders, judges, lawyers and directors to check up on the progress of their work.
The delegation stressed the need to speed up the establishment of stability and security, protect civilians from terrorist attacks, and enable the return of the people to their homes.
The Association is seeking to restore life to normalcy in the town of Ras al-Ayn and Tal Abyad.
The delegation visited the Tal Abyad border crossing where they met with the director of the crossing, Fayez Al-Katie who briefed the delegation on the progress of work and the efforts to rehabilitate the crossing. The delegation also met notables from the region, tribal leaders and the tribal council in the town.
The delegation stressed the fundamental role of tribes in civil and societal peace, adding that it is the responsibility of everyone to establish stability and encourage the IDPs and refugees to return to their homes, especially to the areas with appropriate security and economic conditions such as the Tal Abyad region.
