Vice-President of the Syrian Opposition Coalition (SOC), Abdulahad Astepho, presented his work report before the General Assembly in its 65th meeting, detailing the work of the Department of Foreign Relations during the past two months.
Astepho also gave an overview on the activities and tasks accomplished by the Department, and talked about the meetings with the foreign missions and ministries of the friendly and sisterly countries in order to discuss the revitalization of the political process and the implementation of UN resolutions on Syria, especially the Geneva Communique of 2012 and UN Resolutions 2118 and 2254.
Astepho stressed the need to step up efforts to strengthen relations with friendly and sisterly countries and work to reactivate the work of the international working group to support the Syrian revolution and reach a full political transition in Syria.
