Abdelbaset Abdullatif, coordinator of the Jazira and Euphrates Committee in the Syrian Opposition Coalition (SOC), presented a comprehensive work report to the political committee on the current situation east of the Euphrates, specifically in Tal Abyad and Ras al-Ayn.
During the presentation, Abdullatif provided an overview of the SOC delegation’s visit to northwestern Syria following the recent devastating earthquake, as well as the relief convoys that were sent from the eastern region to aid the affected individuals in northwestern Syria.
He also highlighted the World Health Organization convoy’s recent entry into Ras al-Ayn and the visit of Dutch journalist Rana Nitjes to the regions of Tal Abyad and Ras al-Ayn, along with her media coverage of the situation.
Abdullatif emphasized the crucial need to support the emergency committee formed by the SOC, which is tasked with providing aid to those affected by the earthquake.
