ACU Continues Delivery of Food Aid to Syrian Refugees Assistance Coordination Unit (ACU) is going on with providing food aid and shelter for the displaced Syrians following the exodus to northern Syria caused by Assad’s ongoing aerial campaign on Aleppo. ACU’s office in Killis, Turkey took emergency measures over the period between 8 and February 20, which included the delivery of 300 packs of baby milks, 450 daily meals to Killis refugee camp, 3,500 shampoo bottles, mattresses and blankets. ACU’s representative in the Office of Killis met with members of the Women Support Association to discuss the situation of displaced women in the Turkish town of Killis and the means of cooperation to meet their needs. ACU’s representatives set up a mobile kitchen for the displaced people in Killis. 400 daily meals were prepared for the displaced people in addition to 2000 meals for the displaced people at Bab al-Salamah border crossing. Yabrood Ahl al-Khair Organization expressed thanks to ACU for its contribution to the delivery of relief aid to the displaced people in the town and for supplying the bakery in the town that provided bread on a daily basis and free of charge. Death Toll: 23 People Killed Today, 47 Yesterday The Local Coordination Committees documented 47 people killed yesterday, while 23 people were killed as of press time today, including 3 children, and 3 people killed under torture. Barrel Bombs on Opposition-held Districts of Aleppo Regime forces launched barrel bomb attacks on the districts of Hanano, the Industrial City, Al Sukkari, Sheikh Najjar, Al Sakhour, Al Jalloum, Marja and the perimeter of Kweres air base, causing civilian casualties and material damage. Artillery Shelling On Addar Al-Kabeera North Of Homs Regime forces carried out artillery shelling on the town of Addar al-Kabeera north of Homs, killing two people and injuring dozens. 10 Pro-Regime Soldiers Killed In Duma near Damascus The Free Syrian Army repelled regime forces in the district of Duma near Damascus, killing 10 pro-regime fighters and wounding others. Regime forces carried out mortar shelling on the town of Maliha, while Assad’s air force bombed Yabroud, Daryya, Qaboun, Jobar, Zamalka and Zabadani.
