The Free Directorate of Electricity in Aleppo of the Syrian Interim Government (SIG) resumed the overhaul of the electricity gird in the town of Jarablus and its countryside.
The Syrian Interim Government (SIG) website quoted the Aleppo Electricity Director as saying: “The directorate carried out repairs in several centers, including the Bank Center, Church Center, Al-Masar Center, Amarna IDP camp Center, Jarablus Tahtani Center, and Al-Shuyoukh Center.”
He pointed out that the repairs included installing new control panels; replacing the cables and exits between transformers and circuit breakers; and replacing the old low-voltage networks with new ones.
The repairs also included calibrating the overhead power lines, maintaining the distribution panels, installing a 630 KVA transformer, laying 120mm ground cables, and laying a 50mm medium voltage antenna network.
The Aleppo Electricity Director also said that the overhaul process is continuing, pointing out that the project is funded by Syria Recovery Trust Fund. (Source: SOC’s Media Department)
