Friendly and sisterly countries have offered their support for the victims of the devastating earthquake that struck Türkiye and Syria. The President of the Syrian Opposition Coalition (SOC), Salem Al-Meslet, has sent appeals to the United States, the European Union, Britain, France, Belgium, Canada, Germany, Italy, Japan, the Netherlands, Norway, Sweden, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, and the United Arab Emirates.
These countries have confirmed their efforts to assess the situation and provide immediate support to the affected areas in northwestern Syria.
The envoys of these countries expressed their condolences to the families of the victims, and expressed their sorrow and solidarity with the families of the missing and injured. They also stressed that humanitarian aid will reach all regions based on the needs of the Syrian people.
Meanwhile, the SOC continues to communicate and coordinate with the United Nations, international humanitarian organizations, and other countries to provide urgent support to those affected by the earthquake.
