The Syrian Coalition condemns the terrorist attack that targeted the headquarters of the Association of Syrian Scholars in the town of Arsal in eastern Lebanon, killing and injuring a number of the association’s members.
The Syrian Coalition accuses extremist groups close the Hezbollah militia of committing this crime, calling on the Lebanese government and its security forces to investigate the attack and arrest those involved in it. It also calls for protecting Syrian refugees in Lebanon and stopping violations against them.
The Association of Syrian Scholars in Lebanon said that three of its members, including head of the association’s office in Arsal Osman Mansour and his deputy Omar Al-Halabi, in the attack yesterday.
It is worth noting that the association manage the affairs of the refugee camps and relief aid for Syrian refugees in Lebanon in addition to mediating to release detainees and abductees in the area. (Source: Syrian Coalition)
