Member of the Syrian Coalition Riad Hijab slams the international silence towards the Russian aggression against residential areas in Syria, as over 90% of the Russian air strikes targeted markets, food factories, hospitals and the Free Syrian Army.
He added that the Russian air raids aim to tighten the humanitarian blockade that Assad has imposed by on the peaceful demonstrators since the beginning of the revolution in order to crush it and put pressure on the popular uprising.
Hijab noted that Russia’s systematic targeting of non-ISIS positions lays bare their claims about fighting terrorism and directly supports ISIS, calling on the international community to protect Syrian civilians and the FSA fighters.
