Idris: We Are Working To Unite The Ranks Of Fighters Fighting Assad

General Salim Idris, Chief of Staff of the Free Syrian Army, said they are working on “uniting the ranks of fighters opposed to the Assad regime.” Idris also said that “the General Staff of the military and revolutionary forces confirm it is working on securing arms supply and relief aid for the fighters, and to ward off strife and unite and absorb all the fighters on the ground, who believe in the objectives of the revolution of the Syrian people.” Idris addressed “all military and revolutionary commanders, asking them to unite their ranks in the face of injustice and tyranny,” adding that “we take initiate and extend our hand to everyone and consider all anti-Assad fighters as our brothers and our sons.” (Source: Al Hayat + Syrian Coalition)
