The Syrian interim government announced its full commitment to allowing all humanitarian teams access to the liberated areas in Syria, in order to “provide various types of relief needed by Syrians in accordance with international laws and conventions that call for the protection of humanitarian workers and maintain their safety and facilitate their work.” The government expressed its “commitment to the purpose for which it was created without any discrimination or distinction, based on a vision that Syria is for all Syrians, and its territory is without differentiation in equal rights or duties under the state of law.” Last week the Syrian Coalition appealed to international relief organizations to deliver necessary humanitarian aid to the besieged areas in Damascus, Dara’a, Homs ,and other Syrian cities, to rescue the wounded who are without care due to lack of equipment and medical personnel in those cities.
