The ISIS’s control over some neighborhoods in the town of Ayn al-Arab (Kobanî) and the FSA’s liberation of the town of Al Harra in rural Dara’a topped the agenda of the meeting of the political committee, which also discussed the situation on the ground in Hama, Deir Ezzor and Aleppo. The Syrian Coalition had earlier released a statement calling for accelerating the arming of the Free Syrian Army and providing it with advanced weapons to counter the Assad regime and ISIS, warning of potential massacres against civilians in the town of Ayn al-Arab (Kobani). The president of the Syrian Coalition, his deputies and the Secretary General submitted reports on the results of the visits they made over the past few days, in addition to other reports raised during the meeting concerning the financial situation of the Syrian Coalition.
