A delegation of the Syrian Coalition arrived in the Turkish city of Suruç facing the Syrian border town of Ayn al-Arab (Kobanî) to look over the situation of the Syrian refugees and listen to their needs. Koeman Hussein, a member of the delegation, said that a joint committee was formed by the delegation, the he Syrian interim government and the Kurdish National Council to guarantee fair distribution of the relief aid. It is worth noting that this is the second visit paid by a delegation from the Syrian Coalition to refugee camps in Suruç. The Syrian Coalition has earlier stressed “the need to stand by the displaced people of Ayn al-Arab whose almost all its inhabitants fled to Turkey in the wake of ISIS advance on the town. Havaron Sharif, member of the Syrian Coalition, condemns the “systematic displacement and the massacres being committed by mobs and bandits unleashed by the Assad regime against the town of Ayn al-Arab (Kobanî). The Syrian Coalition reaffirms its “full solidarity with the people of the town of Ayn al-Arab (Kobanî) in light of the killings and displacement they have been subjected to at the hands of an extremist group that is alien to the Syrian people.” (Source: Syrian Coalition)
