Head of the Syrian Interim Government (SIG), Abdurrahman Mustafa, and members of the Syrian Opposition Coalition (SOC) met with a number of Aleppo University students in the liberated areas in order to listen to their demands, especially the need for a university hospital in the town of Azaz.
The meeting brought together Mustafa, member of the political committee Muhammad Yassin, members of the general assembly Atef Zureik, Asaad Allito, Haitham al-Shihabi, and Najib Rahmon, coordinator of the SOC’s office in the liberated areas.
Mustafa said that SIG had communicated with many donors and sisterly countries to provide support for the project of building a university hospital that would serve students in the liberated areas.
Mustafa stressed that the university hospital is an absolute necessity, pointing out that SIG seeks to secure funds for the construction of a university hospital, stressing that SIG supports this rightful demand of the students and that it is working to respond to this demand.
Rahmon stressed that the SOC supports the students’ demands, pointing out that the SOC will support the efforts of SIG to communicate with donors to find appropriate funding for the establishment of a university hospital that serves students in the liberated areas.
