Head of the Syrian Interim Government (SIG), Abdurrahman Mustafa, toured the liberated areas where he visited Aleppo Provincial Council, the local councils in Azaz and Soruan, the Ministry of Defense, and SIG’s office in Afrin.
Mustafa was accompanied by Minister of Defense Major General Salim Idris, Minister of Interior Mohieddin Harmoush, Minister of Justice Abdullah Abd al-Salam, Minister of Finance and Economy Abdel Hakim al-Masry, Minister of Health Maram al-Sheikh, Minister of Local Administration and Services Muhammad Suleiman, and SIG’s Secretary-General and Officer of External Relations, Yasser Al-Hajji.
The SIG’s delegation was briefed on the various projects that the ministries are implementing as they listened to the major needs related to services projects. They also checked up on the progress of these projects and called for developing a comprehensive vision.
Mustafa stressed that SIG is assuming its responsibilities by securing all the citizens’ needs and working hard to provide the basic services.
Mustafa pointed out that SIG is paying much attention to the healthcare sector and working to run mobile clinics in coordination with local councils to provide health services for the displaced people and alleviate their suffering.
At the end of the field tour, Mustafa praised the efforts to improve services being provided by SIG’s as he called for stepping up these efforts to meet the various needs of Syrian civilians. (Source: SOC’s Media Department)
