President of the Syrian Coalition Anas al-Abdah stressed the importance of activating the role of ministries and directorates of the Syrian interim government to meet the needs of civilians living in liberated areas.
In a meeting with members of the interim government in the Turkish city of Gaziantep earlier today, Abdah called for stepping up support and improving basic services for civilians in liberated areas. He also called for giving special focus on development projects in all fields, especially in the fields of services, medicine and education as well as on supporting civil defense teams.
Abdah praised the efforts made by the civil defense workers who, though underequipped, save lives of civilians subjected to constant barbaric bombing by the Assad regime and its allies.
The meeting was attended by interim Minister of Local Administration Hussein Haj Bakri, interim Minister of Health Wajih Juma and interim Justice Minister Abdul Razak Hussein as wells as members of the Syrian Coalition’s’ political committee Michel Kilo, Nora al-Ameer and Osama Taljou.
