The Secretary-General of the Syrian Opposition Coalition, Haytham Rahmeh, expressed his support for every steps that seeks to isolate Russia and boycott it in response to the crimes it is committing in both Syria and Ukraine along with its allies the Assad regime and Iran and in order to deter it from continuing its aggression.
“We stand with Estonia in its expulsion of the Russian ambassador and the diplomatic measures it took in the context of boycotting Russia,” Rahmeh said
Rahmeh added that the international community should take steps that would boycott Russia and its allies, and not allow them any platform in the international forums that they use to falsify facts and spread lies.
Rahmeh warned that the criminal alliance of the Assad regime, Russia and Iran have so far committed thousands of crimes, including mass killings, displacement and bombing of Syrian cities. He said that Russia is repeating the same crimes in Ukraine with support from Iran and the Assad regime.
Rahmeh pointed out that the diplomatic boycott is a correct step that all countries of the free world should follow, calling for more punitive measures that would isolate and deter the aggressors everywhere.
