Louay Safi, spokesperson for the Syrian Coalition, said that if the FSA gets the adequate support, then it will be able alone to fight the forces of the Assad regime, which is about to collapse. Safi also stressed on the integrity of Syrian territory after the fall of the regime, and that the revolution is aimed at ensuring a pluralistic and civil state. Furthermore, Safi called on the international community to help put an end the bloodbath which is caused by Assad’s forces and terrorist militias of Hezbollah, expressing his hope that Geneva 2 achieves the desired results in the cessation of violence and a peaceful transition to democracy.
