Minister of Agriculture in the Syrian Interim Government (SIG), Hayel Khleif, visited the Syrian Tribal Council in the town of Tal Abyad and met with farmers and cattle breeders in the region.
Khleif and members of the Council discussed the agricultural situation, and the opportunities and challenges that hinder the agricultural activities. They also discussed developing a strategy to organize and develop the agricultural reality, and ways to direct agricultural support to serve farmers and cattle breeders in the liberated areas.
Khleif listened to the complaints of farmers and cattle breeders, and promised to step up efforts to solve their problems as soon as possible.
Khleif stressed the importance of advancing the agricultural situation and supporting farmers and cattle breeders, stressing that SIG supports of all plans and initiatives that would improve the agricultural situation in the liberated areas.
