The Directorate of Documentation of Violations and Human Rights in the Syrian Interim Government (SIG) said that 14 people were killed and 30 others were injured in attacks by the Assad regime and PYD terrorist militia in the freed territories in July. It said that the deaths included two women and eight children.
In a periodic report issued on Monday, the Directorate held the Assad regime and its allies responsible for the killing of 12 civilians and the injury of 27 others. It added that the PYD militia was responsible for the death of two civilians and the injury of three others.
The Directorate also said that it recorded no fewer than 121 attacks by the Assad regime forces on the freed territories in July, most of which were by artillery shelling. The PYD terrorist militia carried out 11 attacks, mostly with rockets and artillery, the report added.
The report indicated that the Assad regime was responsible for a deadly attack on the village of Al-Jadida near Jisr Al-Shughour, which killed seven civilians and injured 15 others.
The report also noted the continued enforced disappearance and torture against thousands of detainees in the prisons of the Assad regime, as well as the forced recruitment of children by the PYD terrorist militia.
