President of the Syrian Opposition Coalition (SOC), Nasr Al-Hariri, sent a letter to the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the State of Qatar, Sheikh Muhammad bin Abdul Rahman bin Jassim Al Thani, to denote that the SOC appointed Bilal Turkiya as Chargé d’Affairs at the Syrian Embassy in the sisterly State of Qatar pending the appointment of a new ambassador.
Al-Hariri stressed that strengthening relations between the SOC and the State of Qatar is one of the SOC’s top priorities, stressing the importance of cooperation and coordination to overcome the common challenges and strengthening fraternal ties between the two brotherly peoples.
