Member of the political committee of the Syrian Opposition Coalition (SOC), Zuhair Muhammad, extended his commendation to the revolutionary forces and organizations in northern Syria that organized demonstrations in support of the ongoing peaceful movement against the regime in Suwayda province.
Muhammad underscored that these demonstrations mirror the authentic essence of the Syrian Revolution, which has consistently aimed to reinforce national cohesion and uphold values of brotherhood, shared objectives, and destiny.
The Syrian Revolution forces and organizations issued a call to organize demonstrations in northern Syria titled “The Revolution Has Loyalists, from the North to Suwayda.” Numerous individuals responded to this call in various areas, including Khan Al-Asal camp, Kafr Takharim, Jarabulus, Aleppo Free University, Akhtarin, Afrin, Kafr Lousin, and Salqin.
Local activists reported that some demonstrators were unable to participate in different areas due to the ongoing bombardment by Assad’s forces in their regions, resulting in civilian casualties and injuries.
