The Syrian Opposition Coalition (SOC) condemned the horrific crime that the PYD terrorist militia committed against two girls in Deir Ezzor province. The PYD militia kidnapped the victims and subjected them to severe torture, leading to their death.
In a press release issued on Sunday, the SOC said that the violations and atrocious crimes that the PYD terrorist militia is committing against our people prove that they are brutal gangs that follow in the footsteps of the Assad regime in terms of killings, arrest and oppression of innocent civilians.
The SOC deplored the continued international support for the PYD terrorist militia and the continued ignoring of the crimes of the Assad regime.
It warned that these policies risk undermining all chances for making peace, obstructing a political transition in accordance with UN Resolution 2254, and impeding the Syrian people’s aspirations for a new Syria in which the values of freedom, dignity, and justice prevail.
