A delegation from the Syrian Opposition Coalition (SOC) toured IDP camps in the liberated areas to ascertain the living conditions inside these camps and assess the needs of their residents, especially with the advent of Eid Al-Adha.
The delegation met people with disabilities, the injured, and those with chronic diseases as they checked up on their health conditions and provided them with the necessary assistance.
A separate delegation met with several people with disabilities in the town of Al-Bab in rural Aleppo, in cooperation with the Association of Displaced Persons in the Eastern Region.
The SOC’s delegation gave an overview on the SOC’s plan of action in the coming stage, especially with regard to improving services in the liberated areas; improving the living condition in the IDP camps; and boosting the economy and creating jobs, taking into account all societal groups, including those with disabilities.
