President Hadi Al-Bahra of the Syrian Opposition Coalition (SOC) held discussions with the UK’s Special Representative for Syria, Ann Snow, covering the latest developments in Syria, emphasizing the revitalization of the Geneva political process, including the Constitutional Committee’s work.
Al-Bahra outlined SOC’s plans to support Syrians in their homeland and improve living conditions in northern Syria. He underscored the vital role of Syrian individuals and organizations in preserving the country’s unity.
The two sides addressed challenges faced by Syrian refugees in neighboring countries, discussing measures required from the international community to halt violations against them.
The meeting also delved into the dire living conditions across Syria, exploring possible ways to alleviate citizen suffering. The British envoy reiterated her country’s commitment to implementing Security Council Resolution 2254 as the solenpath towards sustainable security, stability, and peace.
