President of the Syrian Opposition Coalition (SOC), Hadi al-Bahra, and his accompanying delegation conducted an inspection tour of sports, healthcare, agricultural, and animal facilities in the town of Jarabulus in the Aleppo countryside.
The SOC’s delegation inspected the sports stadium project and the public hospital under construction by the local council in Jarabulus, in partnership with the town’s residents. The hospital is situated on a 22,000 square meter area donated by one of the residents, while the council sponsored the construction and equipment, aiming to improve health services in the town.
The SOC delegation also reviewed agricultural and livestock projects, earmarked for technical training for agricultural and food industry engineers. These projects include a dairy factory, a cow and sheep breeding initiative, and greenhouses aimed at enhancing seeds and trees species in the region, overseen by the College of Agriculture.
Al-Bahra commended the various projects and facilities in Jarablus, highlighting its significance as an important and inspirational success story for the region. He emphasized its role in the renaissance of northern Syria, providing employment opportunities, improving the health sector, and delivering services to farmers and livestock breeders.
The Syria Recovery Trust Fund has implemented several projects and programs to support farmers and rehabilitate infrastructure in Azaz, Al-Bab, and Jarabulus. These initiatives include loans to farmers, provision of logistics such as seeds and pesticides, and support programs for wheat, olive, potato farmers, and vegetable growers.
