The President of the Syrian Opposition Coalition (SOC), Salem Al-Meslet, has sent a letter of condolence to the Turkish Foreign Minister, Mevlut Cavusoglu, in regards to the victims of the earthquake that hit Syria and Türkiye on Monday. The earthquake caused massive destruction and numerous casualties.
In his letter, Al-Meslet expressed that the news of the earthquake had deeply touched him and that the SOC stands in solidarity with Türkiye during these challenging times. He also stated that the loss of life and damage to communities and infrastructure is truly heartbreaking.
Al-Meslet expressed his support for the families of the victims and all those affected by this tragedy, wishing a speedy recovery for the injured, and emphasized the SOC’s readiness to provide any necessary assistance during this difficult time.
