The Syrian Opposition Coalition (SOC) said that the PYD terrorist militia committed a heinous crime by shelling a residential quarter in the town of Tal Abyad in Raqqa province and the town of Jarablus in Aleppo province. It stressed that this attack “confirms the criminal nature of this militia and its outright hostility against the Syrian people, as three civilians were killed and many more injured in the attack.”
In a press release issued on Wednesday, the SOC said that “the hatred that these militias bear against the Syrian people was laid bare as the rocket shelling hit near the main hospital with the aim of causing as many casualties as possible. The attack came as part of a systematic practice to ruin any semblance of life in the liberated areas.”
“The PYD terrorist militia is still carrying out their hostile actions against civilians in the liberated areas, by bombing civilian homes, targeting public markets and orchestrating explosions in populated areas. It is clearly trying to destabilize these areas through frequent terrorist operations, which confirms its criminal, terrorist nature,” the SOC added.
“It is imperative that the international community fight terrorism, regardless of its color, shape, or designation. The Syrian Opposition Coalition once again stresses the need to lift any cover off this terrorist organization and fight it.”
