The Syrian Opposition Coalition (SOC) replaced three members representing the Syrian Tribal Council and the Kurdish National Council as part of its expansion process and the General Assembly’s reform plan. The move came at the request of the two councils.
The SOC’s General Assembly had approved the reform plan which aims to strengthen the legitimacy of representation in the SOC and ensure that the representation is credible and inclusive.
