Member of the Syrian Opposition Coalition’s (SOC) political committee, Muhammad Yassin, stressed that the Syrian people reject the presence of Iran and its militias in Syria, citing the emergence of anti-Iran and Hezbollah leaflets and posters in the city of Al-Hasaka earlier this week.
Yassin pointed out that Iran and the terrorist Hezbollah Militia are enemies of the Syrian people after they committed the most heinous crimes in support of Bashar al-Assad and with the aim of crushing the Syrian Revolution.
Yassin added that the Syrian people will not forget the actions of the Iranian regime and Hezbollah Militia, stressing that the Syrian people will continue to reject the Iranian presence until all Iranian militias have left all Syrian territory.
Local activists shared photos of leaflets hung on the walls in the regime-held part of the city, which is known as the “security complex.” The posters showed photos of the leader of the terrorist Hezbollah Militia, Hassan Nasrallah, along with an anti-Hezbollah slogans.
Yassin stressed that Nasrallah is a murderer in the eyes of all Syrians and is responsible for the deaths and forced displacement of thousands in Syria, adding that these crimes are committed on orders from Iran which intervenes and destabilizes the countries of the region.
