A delegation from the Syrian Opposition Coalition (SOC) on Saturday visited the town of Al-Raie in northern rural Aleppo as part of a tour to the liberated areas.
The delegation comprised SOC’s President Salem Al-Meslet, member of the political committee Badr Jamous and member of the General Assembly Ahmed Othman.
The delegation ascertained the conditions in Al-Raie border crossing and reviewed the work reports, commending the professionalism of work, organization and coordination. He discussed the challenges and obstacles facing its work and the proposed solutions.
The delegation also visited the newly established industrial zone in Al-Raie, which will serve as a center for exporting products to neighboring countries. He called on the Syrian communities abroad and businessmen to invest in this zone, which has adequate infrastructure.
The delegation commended this promising project that will create many job opportunities for our people and will utilize the workforce in the liberated areas through its equipment and infrastructure, and its large area of ​​320,000 square meters.
The SOC has recently stepped its visits to the liberated areas in implementation of the reform plan, which aims to ensure real and adequate representation of the Syrian people.
