The Syrian Opposition Coalition’s (SOC) Committee of Civil Society Organizations presented its work report to the General Assembly during its 60th regular session.
The report detailed the activities and work carried out by the Committee during the last period, the most important of which is holding periodic meetings with Syrian civil society organizations with the aim of cooperation and coordination to find solutions and alleviate the suffering of Syrian civilians in the liberated areas.
The report highlighted the Committee’s participation in social and cultural activities, including a visit to the Friends Photo Exhibit, which includes 50 photos of 50 disappeared women in Assad’s prisons. It highlighted Syrian women who were subjected to military trials by the Assad regime.
The Committee put forth a set of recommendations that focused on strengthening cooperation and coordination with Syrian civil society organizations, and working with them in all fields to alleviate the suffering of Syrian civilians and achieve the Syrian people’s aspirations for freedom, justice and dignity.
