SOC’s Coordinator in Liberated Areas Thanks Towns and Villages for Welcoming the Displaced After Hama's Liberation

Najib Rahmoun, the coordinator of the Syrian Opposition Coalition’s (SOC) office in liberated areas, expressed his gratitude and appreciation to every city, village, and town that welcomed the displaced people following the liberation of Hama province and the return of its residents.

On the occasion of Hama’s liberation, Rahmoun stated, “On this day of liberation, we extend our heartfelt thanks and recognition to every town and village that embraced us, and to every piece of land that shared in our struggle.”

Rahmoun thanked the towns of Kafrzeita, Latamneh, Morek, Atshan, Eastern Hama Countryside, Al-Ghab Plain, Qal’at Al-Madiq, Kafr Nabudah, Shashabo, and the symbols of steadfastness.

He also extended his gratitude to the people of Idlib and its countryside, specifically mentioning Kafartakharim, Maarat al-Nu’man, Saraqib, Khan Sheikhoun, Armanaz, Salqin, Sarmada, Dana, Atmeh, and Darkush. He emphasized that “every inch of your land was a haven of hope and a sanctuary for freedom.”

Rahmoun also highlighted his appreciation for Aleppo’s countryside, which supported the displaced people at every step, from Afrin to Azaz, from Al-Rai to Al-Bab, and from Jarablus to Mare’ and Akhtarin.

He concluded by saying, “To every town and village that opened its doors and hearts to us… thank you from the bottom of our hearts. We were part of you, and you became part of us and our unforgettable history.”

Preserving independence and national sovereignty and maintaining the Syrian people's unity within the same Syrian soil is one of the critical pillars of the Syrian Coalition. The Coalition aims to overthrow the Assad regime along with all its symbols and pillars. It also aims to dismantle its security apparatus and hold accountable those involved in crimes against Syrians. In addition, it seeks to achieve a transition to a pluralistic, democratic and civil Syria.
