A delegation from the Syrian Opposition Coalition (SOC) headed by Secretary-General Haitham Rahma visited the Committee for the Restitution of Rights in Afrin in rural Aleppo. They were briefed on the progress of the work of the Committee as they praised its important role in restoring rights to their rightful owners and its contribution to encouraging the IDPs to return to their homes.
The SOC’s delegation comprised members of the political committee Badr Jamous, Bahjat al-Atassi, Muhammad Qaddah, and members of the General Assembly Najib Rahmoun, and Ahmed al-Shehadi.
The delegation reviewed the Committee’s major work in terms of restoring rights, following up on the issue of rights on an ongoing basis, and not reversing any decision that might be in the interest of the citizens.
The delegation applauded the Committee’s efforts as they stressed the need to continue the work to return all rights to their rightful owners.
The Committee highlighted the problems facing its work, the mechanism for solving them, and the proposed solutions to develop work and better serve civilians.
Members of the Committee stressed the civilians’ confidence in the Committee’s work as they urged civilians to report to the Committee in the event of any problem facing them. (Source: SOC’s Media Department)
