A delegation from the Syrian Opposition Coalition (SOC) visited the Syrian School in Qatar and met with the administration on the sidelines of an official two-day visit to Qatar.
The delegation comprised SOC’s Vice-president Abdel Hakim Bashar, Secretary General Abdelbaset Abdullatif, and Coordinator of the Department of Foreign Relations, Abdulahad Astipho. They were also accompanied by First Secretary at the Syrian Embassy in Qatar, Hazem Latif.
The delegation was received by member of the board of education Muhammad Zaidan and administrative assistant Muhammad Marei.
The delegation toured the classrooms, laboratories, and the library to check up on the educational process, modern methods of teaching, numbers of students, and curricula. They discussed ways to draw on this successful experience and broaden it to include schools in liberated areas.
At the end of the visit, the delegation expressed their admiration for the school as they thanked the board of education of the school and their distinguished efforts. (Source: SOC’s Media Department)
