The Syrian Opposition Coalition’s (SOC) Dialogue Committee convened a regular meeting to discuss the latest preparations for holding the third national consultative meeting due to be held in the coming few days.
The meeting, which was chaired by Coordinator of the Dialogue Committee, Abdul Ilah Fahd, brought together members of the Committee Ahmed Tomeh, Bahjat Atassi, Salem Al-Meslet, and Muhammad Al-Qaddah.
The meeting came as part of efforts by the Committee and the SOC to promote national dialogue in order reach true participation in political and negotiation decisions by the widest spectrum of the Syrian people, political parties and blocs.
The Committee discussed the list of participants in the upcoming third national consultative meeting, its agenda, and the importance of providing the appropriate environment for the meeting.
The Committee also discussed the strategy and methodology for the meetings it holds periodically with a broad spectrum of the Syrian society and Syrian political blocs and parties, as well as the goal and outcome of those meetings. (Source: SOC’s Media Department)
