President of the Syrian Opposition Coalition (SOC), Salem al-Meslet, and Head of the Syrian Interim Government (SIG), Abdurrahman Mustafa, met with commanders of the Syrian National Army (SNA), the Military Police and the Military Judiciary at the headquarters of the Ministry of Defense.
The meeting brought together members of the SOC’s political committee and General Assembly, Director of the Military Police Department, Brigadier General Ahmed Kurdi, Director of the Military Judiciary Department, Brigadier General Arafat Hammoud, Director of the Military Ethics Department, ministers and SOC’s staff.
Al-Meslet stressed the importance of this meeting in following up on the developments on the ground and ascertaining the combat readiness of the SNA’s fighters on the battle fronts. He also stressed the importance of building on the positive aspects and addressing the negative aspects and mistakes.
Moreover, he stressed the importance of unity and integration of work, and the continued cooperation and coordination to serve the interests of the revolution and the Syrian people by achieving their demands for freedom, dignity and democracy.
He pointed out that the SOC is closely following the situation in Dara’a with the states that sponsored the agreement that was signed in the province two years ago.
Al-Meslet thanked commanders and members of SNA, the Military Police and the Military Judiciary, stressing that they are symbols of dignity as they are making tremendous sacrifices to defend the Syrian people.
For his part, Mustafa talked about SIG’s efforts to build the SNA, expressing his pride in building a true institution that defends the Syrian people against the Assad regime and its backers. (Source: SOC’s Media Department)
