The Syrian Opposition Coalition’s (SOC) political committee held a regular meeting at the SOC’s office in the town of Azaz in rural Aleppo to follow through the implementation of the measures that the SOC’s General Assembly have recently made as part of the reform process.
SOC’s President Salem Al-Meslet gave an overview on the results of the meetings that the SOC’s delegation held with the leadership of the Syrian National Army, revolutionary bodies, and the youth groupings in order to discuss the expansion process.
Al-Meslet pointed out that the SOC’s delegation felt a sense of satisfaction among the Syrians about the reforms that the SOC has introduced to its internal structure and by-law with the aim of ensuring better representation of the components of the Syrian people within the SOC’s General Assembly.
Al-Meslet pointed out that the reform process will continue so as it meets the aspirations of the Syrian people, stressing the importance of injecting new young blood into the body of the SOC and all the institutions of the Syrian Revolution.
