The political committee of the Syrian Opposition Coalition (SOC) convened its regular meeting on Thursday to discuss the latest developments on the ground and the political situation in Syria, and to receive reports from various working groups, offices, and departments.
President of the Syrian Opposition Coalition (SOC), Hadi Al-Bahra, provided insights into his recent participation in the Antalya Diplomacy Forum and the meetings attended during the event. He also addressed ongoing preparations for commemorating the anniversary of the Syrian revolution.
Vice-Presidents and the Secretary-General presented reports on their respective activities over the past week.
The committee received briefings from SOC representatives and offices in Turkish provinces and liberated areas regarding their work and efforts to monitor the situation and well-being of Syrians.
The Studies Working Group offered a political analysis of the trajectory of Turkish-US relations following NATO expansion, the conflict in Ukraine, and the potential withdrawal of American forces from the eastern Euphrates region.
The Political Parties and Movements Working Group presented their upcoming work plan, while the military bloc provided a report on recent developments in the field, including the escalating military actions by Assad regime forces in liberated areas.
