A delegation from the Syrian Opposition Coalition (SOC), led by President Salem Al-Meslet, recently convened a meeting with the leadership of the Second Corps within the Syrian National Army. During the meeting, the delegation expressed gratitude to the corps for their unwavering dedication, tireless efforts, and sacrifices in safeguarding civilians and upholding defense in the liberated zones against assaults from both the Assad regime and terrorist groups.
The SOC delegation comprised Ahmed Tomeh, Ayman Al-Asimi, and Najib Rahmuon.
President Al-Meslet provided a comprehensive update on the latest political dynamics shaping the Syrian landscape. In turn, he attentively received insights from the leaders of the Second Corps concerning the ongoing situation in the field and the corps’ state of combat readiness.
Al-Meslet underscored the pivotal significance of unity and adherence to military discipline. He emphasized that these elements are paramount for fortifying security and establishing stability within the liberated territories. These measures, he asserted, are imperative for fostering sustainable development and enhancing the overall living conditions of the local populace.
