The President of the Syrian Opposition Coalition (SOC), Salem Al-Meslet, recently met with the Turkish ambassador to Qatar, Dr. Mustafa Goksu, to discuss the latest developments in the field and the political situation in Syria.
During the meeting, both sides emphasized the importance of coordinating international positions to revitalize the political process in Syria and achieve a political transition in line with the UN resolutions on Syria, including the Geneva communique of 2012 and UN Resolutions 2118 and 2254.
Al-Meslet also highlighted the need to ensure accountability and prosecute war criminals who committed heinous crimes against the Syrian people, as proven by the Caesar photographs, the video about the Tadamon massacre, the reports of the Organization for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons, and other evidence.
