President of the Syrian Opposition Coalition (SOC), Salem al-Meslet, met with a delegation from the Syrian Tribal Council who awarded him the shield of honor. He thanked them for their trust as he congratulated its new leadership, wishing them success.
Al-Meslet emphasized the important role of the Council in the revolution and its contribution to civil peace, conflict resolution and social cohesion.
He also stressed the need to strengthen cooperation and coordination in order to face the upcoming challenges and achieve the aspirations of the Syrian people for freedom, dignity and democracy.
