President of the Syrian Opposition Coalition (SOC), Nasr Al-Hariri, conducted a tour on the formation of the Syrian National Army (SNA) in the Afrin region. He was accompanied by Minister of Defense in the Syrian Interim Government, Major General Salim Idris
Al-Hariri was also accompanied by members of the political committee, Badr Jamous, Muhammad Yahya Maktabi, members of the General Assembly Zakariya Malahifji, Ahmed Bakkoura, Najib Rahmoun, and Ahmed Al-Shehadi.
Al-Hariri and the accompanying delegation met with the commanders of the SNA, civilian and military police forces as he commended the tremendous efforts they are making to maintain security in the liberated areas.
The commanders gave an overview on the situation on the frontlines and combat readiness, as well as the latest measures taken to fend off terrorist attacks that target civilians.
Al-Hariri stressed that the Assad regime, its backers, and terrorist organizations are avidly seeking to sow chaos and undermine instability in the liberated areas. (Source: SOC’s Media Department)
