Secretary-General of the Syrian Opposition Coalition’s (SOC), Haitham Rahma, condemned the terrorist attacks by the Houthi militia on the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates, describing them as criminal and dangerous.
Rahma said that the Houthi militia is the terrorist arm of the Iranian regime in Yemen, and is constantly seeking to destabilize the Gulf states and undermine their security, let alone their terrorist practices in Yemen against the brotherly Yemeni people.
Rahma stressed that the Houthi terrorist attacks are not different from what the terrorist Hezbollah militia is doing in Lebanon, along with other Iranian-backed militias in Syria and Iraq. He pointed out that these practices are part of plans by the Iranian mullahs’ regime targeting all Arab countries.
Rahma stressed the need for a unified Arab stance towards the Houthi militia and other Iranian-backed militias, stressing that these militias pose a serious terrorist threat to the entire region. He said that the SOC and the Syrian people support the efforts of the Arab coalition to defeat these terrorist militias and eliminate the Iranian threat to the region.
