The Secretary-General of the Syrian Opposition Coalition (SOC), Haytham Rahmeh, presented the work report of the General Secretariat to the General Assembly at its 69th meeting held in the liberated areas on Thursday.
Rahmeh provided an overview of the General Secretariat’s activities over the past two months, emphasizing the formation of committees and the establishment of departments to enhance efficiency and streamline their functions. He highlighted the specific tasks of each committee, with special emphasis on the media department and the need to enhance media efforts given the challenging circumstances faced by Syria, as it has diminished in international priority.
Rahmeh also addressed the organizational structure, legal and administrative aspects of the General Secretariat, emphasizing the importance of fortifying institutional work, improving administrative functions, and offering necessary services and support for the various departments, offices, and committees.
