Secretary-General of the Syrian Opposition Coalition (SOC), Abdelbaset Abdullatif, conducted a tour of inspection to the SOC’s office in the town of Azaz in northern rural Aleppo, where he met with members of the Youth, Women and Legal Affairs offices and was briefed on the progress of their work.
Abdullatif commended the offices’ work and their cooperation with the citizens in the liberated areas as he took note of the offices’ necessary needs to improve performance.
He stressed the importance of the offices achieving their goals, interacting with youth in the liberated areas, and communicating with women to encourage them to effectively assume their role in society.
Abdullatif pointed out that the SOC is seeking to broaden its activities in the liberated areas by opening new offices, noting that this would strengthen cooperation and coordination with the SOC’s executive institutions, especially the Syrian Interim Government and Assistance Coordination Unit.
